From Sarah

As a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner certified in primary care, working at Broomfield Pediatrics is a perfect fit. I love working with children of all ages and have throughout my entire career. After receiving my Bachelors degree in Nursing at the University of South Carolina, I worked as a Registered Nurse for several years gaining experience in the newborn nursery, on a pediatric unit and in pediatric surgery. I decided to take the plunge to go back to school and get my Master’s degree as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner once I realized that all my jobs had one thing in common-working with kids! As a Nurse Practitioner in Colorado, I am licensed as an independent practitioner, meaning I am able to see my own patients and to provide the same care as a doctor but with the experience and heart of a nurse.

My favorite aspect of working in pediatrics is building relationships with my patients and watching them grow from tiny humans to successful adults. A visit to your pediatrician should not only address your concerns but should make you feel confident about your child’s health. It’s my goal that when patients and families leave the office they feel that all their questions and concerns have been addressed. At Broomfield Pediatrics we strive to provide the best possible care to families during the good times, the bad times, and everything in between!
