Emily Skrocki was born and raised in Fort Collins, CO. She attended Montana State University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. After her undergraduate studies, Emily worked as a RN for five years during which time she completed her Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) at The University of Arizona. Her nursing experience includes time in General Pediatrics as well as Pediatric Intensive Care and Pediatric Hematology and Oncology. She is a board certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board who specializes in primary care. As a Nurse Practitioner with full prescriptive authority in Colorado, Emily is licensed as an independent practitioner, meaning she is able to see her own patients and to provide all the same care as a physician.
Emily began her career as Nurse Practitioner in Anchorage, Alaska working with Alaska Native youth at an Indian Health Services facility. Over the nearly seven years Emily spent in Alaska she was able to explore her passions for hiking, skiing and the great outdoors. Now back home in Colorado, Emily looks forward to following her patients from birth into young adulthood.
