Education and Affiliations
Dr. Greer is the physician/owner of Broomfield Pediatrics & Internal
Medicine. She began the practice in 1997 as the first pediatrician in
Broomfield. She received her undergraduate degree in Chemistry from Kent
State University, a Ph.D. in Pharmacology from Duke University and her
MD from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine. Dr. Greer
completed her pediatric residency training through The Children’s
Hospital in Denver in 1997. She is board certified in Pediatrics and a
fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is also an Associate
Clinical Professor at The Children’s Hospital, Denver and has supervised
pediatric residents and PA students in the clinic. She has lectured on
antibiotic use with pediatric patients and serves as a physician on a
vaccination advisory board. She has hospital privileges at Avista Hospital,
The Children’s Hospital, and
Exempla Good Samaritan Hospital.
Personal
Dr. Greer lives in Broomfield and has two older sons, Kenin and Brandon.
Dr. Greer enjoys playing the piano and church organ, attending concerts,
skiing, traveling and is active in church activities.
Adam
Palazzari, MD
“I chose to specialize in both Pediatrics and
Internal Medicine because I wanted to care for people of all ages. I believe
in preventative medicine and feel that health and wellness should blend
into a person's life. My training in Pediatrics allows me to treat children
from their birthday through adolescence. My training in Internal Medicine
covers adolescence through the end of life. I love working with both children
and adults so I can care for the whole family.”
Education and Affiliations
Dr. Palazzari joined Broomfield Pediatric in 2006. Originally from Minnesota,
he received his undergraduate degree in Biology from Gustavus Adolphus
College in St. Peter, MN. He attended the University of Minnesota Medical
School where he earned his M.D. and was inducted into the Alpha Omega
Alpha (AOA) Honor Society. In 2005, he completed a combined residency
in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of North Carolina
at Chapel Hill. He is board certified in both Pediatrics and Internal
Medicine. Dr. Palazzari has staff privileges at The Children's Hospital,
Avista Adventist Hospital, and Exempla Good
Samaritan Hospital. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics
(AAP) and the American College of Physicians (ACP).
Personal
Dr. Palazzari lives in Lafayette with his wife Kari, their young son
Finn, their chocolate lab Tessa and their cat Nutmeg. His is an avid downhill
skier and enjoys hiking, mountain biking, camping, photography and anything
technological.
Gene
Gonzales, MD
Education and Affiliations
Dr. Gonzales is a pediatrician who has worked in the north metro Denver
area for the past 14 years. She finished her medical training at the University
of the Philippines College of Medicine. She completed her pediatric residency
in Manila and finished her fellowship in Australia. Dr. Gonzales migrated
with her family to the United States. She then retrained at the University
of Connecticut and completed her second pediatric residency training at
The Children’s Hospital in Oklahoma. Dr. Gonzales has privileges
at Avista Hospital, Exempla Good
Samaritan Hospital and The Children’s Hospital.
Personal
Dr. Gonzales lives in Westminster. In her off hours, she putters in
the garden, goes to the theater, enjoys white-water rafting and serves
as a mentor for her nieces and nephews.
Amy
Lannigan, MD
“I enjoy taking care of people of all ages, from
newborns to teens to adults. I appreciate getting to know my patients
and taking care of them over time.”
Education and Affiliations
Dr. Lannigan is a pediatrician and an internist at Broomfield Pediatrics.
After growing up in Broomfield, she graduated from Broomfield High School,
then received her undergraduate degree in Microbiology from Colorado State
University and her MD from Creighton University School of Medicine. She
completed a double residency in both Pediatrics and Internal Medicine
at Creighton University Medical Center/ University of Nebraska Medical
Center, and she is board certified in both specialties. Dr. Lannigan has
staff privileges at The Children's Hospital, Avista Adventist Hospital,
and Exempla Good Samaritan Hospital. She is
a member of the American College of Physicians and a fellow of the American
Academy of Pediatrics.
Personal
Dr. Lannigan enjoys hiking in the mountains, snowshoeing, playing piano
and guitar, reading and knitting.
